The project is one in a series of Visitor Centres that the Sharjah government is keen to develop, to protect regional wildlife. The centre will provide information about the historical importance and the natural history of animals in the Arabian Peninsula. The proposed circular building is hugging the small mountain, creating enclosed natural environment providing a relationship between nature and human, and allowing people to interact with the characteristics of the site. The main functions camouflage with the site, using the same material and color of the surrounding context.
