TBT Showroom is a creation of a new urban entity on a dense and historic urban fabric of Naif area in downtown Dubai. The 120 sqm site surrounded by four Sikkas (allies) provides a significant urban condition to be explored. Within an architecture of coherence and difference, the ordering and geometry of design allowed provisional advancement of the building masses. Rather than a building design which starts out as an iconic object, fixed and immutable in order to remain pure, the design for TBT showroom is a design of emergence allowing for a necessitude of an evolving brief and a complex integration of shopping and urban experience.
