Harvard University invites X Architects to present at “After Dark” Conference
Harvard University organized a conference titled “After Dark: Nocturnal Landscapes and Public Spaces in the Arabian Peninsula”. The conference is supported by the Harvard Center for Middle Eastern Studies and the Aga Khan program at Harvard Graduate School of Design
X Architects founders, Ahmed Al Ali and Farid Esmaeil, were invited to discuss the UAE cultural phenomenon of using the desert highways at night as a congregation spot for various activities.
A panel discussion, followed after the presentations, discussed the nightly landscapes of the Arabian Gulf and the structural facilities that are being utilized during the night.
