The Desert / 2007

The Garden was born in the desert. An isolated anamoly in an otherwise dry and uninhabitable environment, they become sources of life, allowing for settlements to develop, and inhabitation of the hostile weather possible. The sustainable garden city uses this inspiration of gardens and combines it with the folk lore of the 1001 nights to create a magical blend of greenery and journey that takes the onlookers through various cultural and architectural flavours of Islamic cities.
