Ahmed Al Ali, our founder and a member of the jury panel for the Mashrabiya Challenge 2025, took part in the closing ceremony titled “A Gathering in the Shade of the Mashrabiya: Between Architecture and Identity” held at the Jordan Museum.

The event brought together leading architects and emerging creative talents from across the Arab world. The evening highlighted the enduring dialogue between tradition and modernity, showcasing how craftsmanship and advanced technologies can merge to shape the architectural language of the future.

Al Ali emphasized the significance of reinterpreting regional heritage through contemporary design tools, noting that the mashrabiya continues to inspire new generations of designers. The ceremony concluded with a celebration of the innovative ideas presented throughout the competition ideas that, according to Al Ali, demonstrate how the future of Arab architecture is being shaped today.
