Farid Esmaeil, founding partner of X-Architects, delivered a lecture titled Contextual Futures: Adaptive Reuse and Cultural Identity as part of the Qatar Museums programme.

During the lecture, he discussed how architecture can integrate memory and innovation, transforming heritage into regenerative, place-based design that responds to both cultural and environmental context.

The event took place on 18 November 2025 at the Qatar University Auditorium in Doha and was open to the public with free admission, requiring registration.
