On 23 January, participants of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture symposium visited Wasit Wetland Centre at Sharjah.

Guided by founders Ahmed Al Ali and Farid Esmaeil, the visit explored the project’s environmental strategies and regional foundations as an AKAA 2019 recipient.

Discussions extended the symposium’s themes into lived experience, examining how responsibility, place, and practice intersect.
