Ahmed Al Ali is a UAE-based architect and entrepreneur, and the founding partner of X Architects since 2003. His work has received international recognition, with exhibitions at RIBA in London and the Louisiana Museum in Copenhagen. A recipient of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders, Ahmed also contributes to research and urban planning initiatives, and serves on the boards of several UAE universities. He remains active in academia, recently speaking at Harvard University.
Farid Esmaeil

Farid Esmaeil is the founding partner of X Architects, an architecture and urban design firm established in Dubai in 2003. A graduate of the American University of Sharjah, his work explores contemporary urban identity and sustainability. He led major projects like Xeritown in Dubai and Al Nasseem in Al Ain. Farid has lectured and exhibited globally, including at the Venice Biennale and TU Berlin, and has received awards such as the Holcim Award and Cityscape Awards. His work has been featured in publications like Al Manakh and Architecture+.
